Kelsey Marrs Helps Wasps to Volleyball Conference Quarterfinals

Kelsey Marrs from Wytheville, Va. recently finished her 2013 volleyball season with the Emory & Henry women's volleyball team.

The Wasps concluded their season on November 6th after losing in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Quarterfinals to the third-seeded Lynchburg College.

E&H volleyball opened the season on the road with a non-conference win against Ferrum on August 30. Then they started off conference play with a win against Randolph College at home on September 13.

The 2013 season was a winning one for Emory & Henry with 15 wins and 13 loses.

Nicole Tesh and Tristen Pennington were named to All-ODAC teams. Tesh, a senior at Emory & Henry, was selected for All- ODAC First Team, and Pennington, a freshman, was selected for All-ODAC Second Team along with being named rookie of the year.

This was Dan Clotfelter's third season as head coach of the Emory & Henry Volleyball team. The Wasps earned the sixth seed and had a winning season under his guidance during the 2012 season.
